Demyx’s brow raised even higher when it looked like Larxene’s head would fly off her neck with how many times she nodded. “Oooookay,” he said slowly, though he still smiled at her. She was kinda cute when she acted all silly like this. “Yeah, let’s go pay~” With his pile of clothes in hand, he headed toward the check out and set them down on top of the counter so the cashier could ring up the clothes.

“What’re you smiling like a goof for,” Larxene punched his arm lightly, feeling a blush coming. Kingdom hearts, why was she acting like a school girl out on a date with her first love?

But if you were to twist the truth a little here and there, technically, it was true…

Larxene had to suppress a shudder at the thought. Anymore and she might just fart rainbows. The two waited as the cashier brought up the total sum and Larxene reached into her wallet to pull out a slim silver rectangular plastic. “Treat this as a welcoming present,” Larxene handed the card over to the cashier. 

the-8th-nobody:

“You’re so full of bullshit.” Axel wasn’t going to fall for her antics. “Anyway.. are you and Demyx seriously committed to each other? Or is it just a friends with benefits sort of thing?”

Larxene scoffed but her expression fell serious at Axel’s next question. “I…” Larxene sighed and pushed a set of fingers through her hair, despite getting sand in it. “I guess we’re committed to each other. But I’m working on pushing it away from the ‘friends with benefits’ boundary. Which is harder than it looks.”

“Oh, so you’re into those kinds of things, hm?” Axel winked at her and then chuckled again.

Larxene decided to play along with Axel and gave him a knowing smile. “Once you start you can’t seem to stop. You should try it someday, really.”

My eyes are closing as we speak.. x_x

“Oh you know I just adore you, right?~” Axel teased before blowing her a kiss and then going back to laughing.

“Maybe you should direct the kiss to my posterior instead,” Larxene muttered, tempted to shove a fistful of sand down his throat.

Axel snorted in laughter. “You’re soooo mad, aren’t you?~” He fell back into the sand and he continued to chuckle.

Larxene glowered, words deciding to fail her at this moment. “Yea, laugh while you still can, hedgehog.” 

the-8th-nobody:

“Relax~” Axel smirked up at her. “You couldn’t get the fire so you went to the water~ I understand~” He chuckled.

“Oh shut up,” Larxene huffed, smacking Axel’s shoulder none too lightly. “It’s not as if flower boy’s available for taking, is he?” Larxene shot back, rolling her eyes.

Axel nearly choked on his laughter. “Oh come now~ You’ll be doing no such thing. Sheena happened to tell me and find out before I did.” He grinned.

Now it was Larxene’s turn to choke on shock. “Sheena?!” she whirled back, her face contorted into an exaggerated  expression of disbelief. “How did she, out of all people find out?!” Larxene nearly shouted, her voice raising in pitch and volume.

Demyx got the clothes all folded, putting them in a pile and walking out of the dressing room with them in his arms. He headed toward Larxene, seeing Larxene fanning herself. He quirked an eyebrow, walking up behind her. “You okay, Larxene?” he asked, blinking innocently.

Larxene jumped a little, nodding like a bobble head. “Yea, I’m alright,” she assured Demyx, feeling a little giddy next to him. She stood up and pointed a thumb towards the cashier. “Shall we make payments now?”

“What? Is it not true?” Axel grinned when he saw her blush. “Oooh~ Look who’s blushing~”

“Your big baboon ass, that’s what,” Larxene snapped. She turned away and threw her hands up in the air. “I’m so going to wrangle that little birdie’s neck,” she growled, a frown appearing on her face.
